personal interests
My family and friends mean the world to me. My parents, Gary and Jan, have been married for 40 years and have taught me what it means to work hard. I have an older brother, Ryan, sister-in-law Erin, and my nieces Paige (16) and Kaydee (4). I moved to Fargo, ND in 2004 and lived there for 9 years until I moved back to Bismarck in 2013. It has been wonderful living in the same city as my family again.
I love to travel, go to concerts, watch football (GO PACK GO!), and be at the lake. When I was little, I would always play teacher. I would use my chalkboard to write out the alphabet for my stuffed animals and dolls and I would give them weekly spelling tests. I have always admired and respected the teaching profession and I can't wait to have my own classroom one day. I hope to instill the love of learning in children, spark imaginations, and inspire them to be all they can be.
